hi,

 

iam looking to buy this packard bell pc.

but the strange think is, do you think the infromation given on there are wrong, becuase i have looked at the packard bell website and it looks like it is.

the name of the pc is wrong and other details too, dont really understand why its like that, can you please help.

The first is an IPOWER 8520 and the second is the IXTREME Y8520. 2 different models.

, and also all the infro the packard bell website provides are all the same as the dixons, apart from the processer, which is also the same but the ghz.

dixons has it listed wrong. Both systems are using the e6550 conroe CPU. That's a 2.33Ghz CPU.

Dixons is listing theirs as a refurbished PC. So remember that when thinking about buying. It's a used PC that's had repairs done. It appears they just listed the CPU frequency wrong.

That's something only Dixons would know. It's not always a bad thing, because you should be getting new parts. However, it all depends on how reputable/responsible the company is with their repairs.
