MY DELL OPTIPLEX 960 STARTS OKAY SOMETIMES,BUT EVERY OTHER BOOT OR SO,IT FREEZES ON THE STARTING WINDOWS SCREEN.I TURN IT OFF AND THEN IT STARTS OK BUT IT LOSES THE DATE AND TIME SETTINGS.ANY IDEAS WHAT IS CAUSING THIS.I CHANGED THE CMOS BATTERY ,BUT THAT DIDN'T HELP!PLEASE HELP!

Was there any buildup on the connectors that touch the battery?

You could try a different PSU. A failing PSU can cause all sorts of odd issues.

It's way bigger than your system needs, but it's a nice PSU.

You could've got it for $50 through newegg, but through a local store, you did good.
