Hi! I will be starting grade 12 this coming September, and want to know which of these are best! Also I'm homeschooled, which means that pretty much all of my courses are taken online. So I'll need something that has good internet access and such.
So should I be looking into getting a netbook, notebook, or laptop? I would prefer something that is lightweight and small, but not so small that it becomes hard to type.
Would you recommend an Acer over a Toshiba? Or something else entirely? Your help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
xoticpc.com cyberpowerpc.com ibuypower.com has gaming laptops you can check newegg but just stick with netbook if basic web surfing is what your gonna do. Also go with the 10.1
As the previous poster said, there is no difference between laptop and notebook. A netbook has a smaller screen, usually a smaller keyboard, and less capable processing power.
If you decide to go the netbook route, be sure to try out the keyboard before you buy. I could never get used to the one of my netbook. You can get a great deal on a fully featured laptop (as in under $500), so if it were my decision, that would be my choice. About a year ago I purchased an off-lease Dell D630 (14.1", 1.8Ghz Core2Duo, discrete graphics) for about $450.
