Why is my dell laptop blinking amber and white?

Hello,
my dell inspiron 17 laptop is blinking amber 4 times then white 1 time. I dont know why. What is wrong with my laptop?

When does this happen? At bootup or does it actually start or what?

When it is plugged into the wall and when it is on. Like it can be off and plugged in and it blinks the same and when its on too. like if its off and i take it off the ac/dc adapter it doesnt blink. but thats the only time.
