Mic Not Working Properly after Fraps Install

Hello folks,

I dl'ed Fraps to test today - worked fine, then uninstalled. Since then, my mic no longer works properly. I have ensured nothing rogue is muted and ensured my SB Live is the playback/input device, all drivers downloaded properly.

My mic worked just fine before this dl - and now even the MS "mic troubleshoot test" doesn't even recognize any mic sound input. CS and other games also can "barely hear me"

Does anyone know if Fraps auto selects, deselcts portions of my mic/input/line in settings and/or what should I have "selected" and/or "muted". Specs below
