Ok guy really need your help. This is what am working with>

Now dont say just hook them to the usb's because that's what am tring to advoid.. Simple because am figuring will i get better audio proformance out the headphone using a digital to Analog converter from the Optical out or Coaxial out to the headphones?

SPDIF is digital, and will not connect directly to headphones of basically any kind. It is for connecting the computer to a separate receiver or amplifier, rather than directly to a listening device. Honestly, your best bet is to just use the USB plug, or to get some different headphones with the standard analog connection. Either way, you won't use the spdif.

ok thanks thats what i'll do.. I'll save the s/pdif port for when i get a surround sound or something
