Lcd troubleshooting

LCD TV has no picture. sound works fine but no picture.

Probably the backlight. Try shining a torch at the screen while it's running and see if any image visible. Backlight problem is either power supply or fluorescent tubes/circuitry.

Of course, start by checking that no-one has selected an impossible combination of contrast and brightness. Access the on-screen display controls and select reset to defaults.
