I have a dvd i want to rip. im using aoa dvd ripper which is good it allows me to selcted which chapter i want to rip. anyway i want to rip from dvd files to either mpeg, avi or flv file.

But i don't know what is the best video and audio bitrate to use. For example: For mp3 the standard audio bitrate is 128 kbps. I was just wondering in regarding video and audio together what is the standard for mpeg, avi, flv files?

- Video Bitrate [kbps]
- Audio Bitrate [kbps]

2. What is the actual best quality without having the size go too high?

3. If i choose to cgange my native resolution to a higher reslution like 1972by1070, what settings would suit that best?

thank you very much
