Hey,

My problem is regarding my Relisys TE770 17 inch CRT monitor. Just 2 days ago when i start up my computer the monitor would not switch on at all, the rest of the system would boot up as normall and can hear windows theme song. I checked all connections and reconnected them. Switched off main and off, still no joy and rebooted system.

I found that if i leave it on for a minute or two the monitor starts a on/off cycle for about 10 second then finally the green led stays on but image appears after another 10 seconds and works fine for rest of the day. I can even turn the monitor off and on like normal.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Also I noticed recently before this that the monitor screen would shake randomly. Are these signs that my 3+ year old monitor is on its way to monitor heaven or hell..

Pc Specs:

Amd 3800x2
2gig DDR 400mhz
8800Gt connected via dvi-Vga.
Windows Xp Home

Thanks in advance any help would be welcomed.
