I got my dell e1505 just over 3 years ago, and it works great. the only problem is that the screen has gotten all floppy. if i move it, it's like loose or something and wehen i let go it falls back to what it just was. if i move it further, then it will catch on and start moving whatever is inside, and when i let go, it falls back again, but not as far. sometimes when i move it, it seems like it needs to click back into place. Has anyone come across this, and does anyone know how to fix it? i took the little plate above the keyboard off once (the one that says inspiron e1505) and looked for a loose screw or something out of place, but i couldn't find anything.

anyone have any ideas?

thanks.

Your screen hinges are loose. It happens. You may be able to tighten some screws up, but usually the hinges just need replacement. It's a pretty easy repair, and replacement hinges can be found on eBay for cheap.
