I would like to upgrade my graphics card in my Dell Inspiron 531. I am thinking of using a GTX 260. I understand that it will fit in the case, just. Can anyone confirm this?
Also what would be a suitable power supple to use?

I want to improve the frame rates in FSX
I am running Vista Home Premium SP1

Any advice most helpful.

You may want to measure your current psu and check the dimensions against the antec. Dell doesn't always use standard ATX PSUs.

i agree upgrade the psu ,you'll need it for the better card. dell psu are lame

There are some ATI 4670 models that don't require additional power. In case you don't want to swap the psu also.

The 260 will probably fit but will be a little tight in there.

My ATI Radeon 4870 1 gig graphics card runs excellent on my new Dell Studio XPS 435T and the power is 475 watts.

Out of curiosity, who makes the PSU and how many amps are on the 12v rail(s)?
