I've just made the mistake of buying a Creative OEM product. apparently they no longer make the drivers available for download - you can only UPDATE from the web after you've installed from the CD. This would be great if they actually put the CD in the box...

Does anyone out there have a copy of the CD that they could make available for download?

I'm a little miffed that Creative expect me to pay another £15 or whatever just to get the driver CD. Last time I buy one of their products!

There is no excuse for a company not to put its drivers on the internet.

Unforutanely you can't really avoid buying a soundblaster if you are serious about gaming :(

PS did a websearch, many people have also been screwed in the same way.

Try these drivers, someone said this did the trick.

I found a couple people sharing Audigy 2 ZS driver and application CD's online and on the edonkey network.

Apparently you can run a program to install the ZS drivers on the value cards enabling the full ZS features?

The directions are in the link I poseted above.

I have also found alternative (non-creative?) drivers

Install Audigy4 drivers on your SB Live!/Audigy/Audigy 2/Audigy2 ZS

And if you get any of this to work you should start a new thread to let everyone know, I am thinking about getting the same card in the near future!

I think the ZS drivers on the Creative site are for both Audigy2 and ZS cards. Give em a shot, it couldn't hurt :)
When I was installing my ZS drivers the package said Audigy 2/Audigy 2 ZS so it made me think it would work on both.

It specifically excludes the Audigy 2 Value from the supported cards.

To install the Audigy 2 ZS Drivers on an Audigy 2 Value you have to run a program to modify the original drivers.

Afterward you have the original Audigy 2 ZS drivers installed you can apply the updates normally.
