I have a digital TV, when the TV was changed from analog to digital I was able to receive 90+ channels with comcast basic cable. Just last week I lost the majority of the channels and we I contacted Comcast they told me that I need to purchase a Box to get the channels back. My understanding is the digital TV are set for digital channels. Please let me know if comcast are correct or is there a problem in my digital TV? thx

try to do a complete channel scan and see what happens, you do notneed a box. they only want you to get a box so they can charge you for it. you only need a box if you get pay per view channels or the naughty channels. be patient, on my plasma tv it will take up to 10 min to do a complete channel scan since it scans for digital and analog channels. hope this helps.
