Well I got my Inspiron 1520 laptop friday and love it. It runs games amazing. I ordered a 3 fan cooling stand and i will be getting a nine cell battery soon along with a 2gb stick of ram. Im not the one to really take care of a computer and was wondering what are the best programs to keep it in tip top shape? I mean anti virus, registry tweak/cleaner ect... i dont care if it costs money. just give me the best. thanks!

I'm a big CCleaner fan, which takes care of Registry, also cleans out temp files, etc. I use auslogics disk defrag because the one that comes with Vista sucks. Another newly discovered gem is Secunia PSI, which makes sure software (such as Adobe flash plug-ins, etc) are up to date.
I use Threatfire as antivirus, and SuperAntiSpyware for spyware. The preferred free antivirus is up in the air. Lots of people like AVG, some Avira. I don't care for either.

thanks. Anyone else? I am getting the confirm my email again... and right now i use these on my laptop:
System One Care PRO
Advanced Vista optimizer PRO
Advanced System Protector PRO
and i will be getting more and trying different ones. but i will tell you Vista optimizer works AMAZING!!!
