LCD 20" Monitor Selection Help

Well it seems my monitor purchase will have to be brought forward since this old monitor is getting heavy artifacts/broken pixels.

I've tried to narrow the selection down;

Samsung SM226BW - Does this need any introduction? - £211

My budget will extend to around £200 (i'm sure i can find £11 somewhere but it isn't ideal) I'm fairly tight with my money so I want best bang for my buck. 22" would be ideal - but is it feasible? I'm working on a 14"(just checked!) currently and a 19" at work (paired with another 15" laptop) which looks fantastic. I'm looking to replace my monitor and perhaps use it to watch DVDs (LG L207WT looks good here). Play a lot games (Crysis @ high/very high, COD4, Assassins Creed, Rainbow6 Vegas 2 all which look meh on my monitor) and web dev work (22" would perhaps help although tbh there both 1680x1050 which is going to be a notable improvement over my 1024x800)

I believe the difference between response time comes with refresh rate? 200hz max with 5ms, 500 with 2ms?

Rig used with this monitor (i don't know if this matters?) - 3870x2/Q6600 (that should be able to handle nearly all monitors right?)
