I hav full HD tv but my dvd is normal and I have also home theater with plilips amplifier and if I buy HDMI output DVD what will be different in video and audio ?

the video will be better cause dvd players with hdmi out up convert to at least 1080i and now a days most push out 1080p as for audio dvds have a max of 5,1 channels this will not be changed much or not at all if your already pluged into your amp via toslink (optical)
