OS: XP Pro 32-bit SP3 + fully updated
Mobo: Gigabyte Ep43-DS3L
Sound: Realtek ALC888 HD 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel onboard
Speakers: Logitech X-540

Only the two front speakers are working, the front satellite and two rears aren't.

I have the latest sound drivers from gigabyte. I set the speaker config to 5.1 in control panel and all the audio codecs.

I played various movies, music and used Realtek HD Audio Manager, and only the two front speakers are working.

The speakers are plugged in properly.

Any ideas how to get this working?

Thanks

You need to setup the Realtek audio manager to 6 channels analog.
