I know there are a couple of "I need a new monitor" threads already, but everyone opinion differs when it comes to monitors based on specific prices, requirements, and needs. Or at least, that is what I have found.

Anyways, I am looking for a monitor in the $400 range. Ideally, I would like it to be 22' - 24'. I do a lot of gaming so, naturally, I would like it to be geared towards that, but it doesn't necessarily have to be built specifically for gaming.

I hear BenQ is good and Dell is good but can you get a decent Dell for around $400?

Thanks in advance.

Look at Newegg-they're great for figuring things out! I limited my choices down to two thanks to the side-by-side comparisons.

By the way, looking at any of the Dell monitors at Newegg, they seem to have really crappy reviews.
