I am looking for a powered subwoofer to go along with my new surround sound system. I am looking at the jensen jp s8 or the polk audio PSW10 powered subwoofers to replace my RCA powered subwoofer.
My system is all cerwin vega speakers and an onkyo sr 606 receiver.

Which one of these powered subwoofers is better/ would be better for my system?
I know the jensen has an 8 ohm impedance rating but i couldnt find anything on the Polk audio. What is the impedance of the polk audio? ( i dont want to mix a 4 ohm powered subwoofer with my 8 ohm system and receiver because cant that damage the amp?)

So overall, which one of these powered subwoofers is better?
