So it seems like the DVD players that I buy only seem to last a year or so until my toddlers stuff a gummie bear in them or they just give up the ghost. i am tired of spending $100 bucks everytime to get a new one when an IDE or SATA DVD drive can be bought for about $25.

I am looing to see if anyone knows of a way to use a regular 3.5 inch DVD internal dvd drive and plug it into my tv set.

This way when the drive breaks I can just swap it out for a new one.

Ahh kids! Gotta love them (I hear it's the law in some states)!

Unfortunately, mmayor, without a major hack job (and I wouldn't even know where to start), an internal DVD drive is only going to work inside a computer.
