Hi all,

I've got a collection of Wargames Illustrated issues from the earliest
days. In that collection are three parts of a four part article
presenting a paragraph-based battle generation system called a
"Decision Game," set during the Wars of the Roses.

I'm missing the installment that appeared in either issue #11, #12 or
#13.

First off, does anyone know which of those issues containing an
installment of the series?

Second, does anyone have a copy of this issue?

Finally, the article refers to other "Decision Games" available for
purchase from the author. I don't suppose anyone knows where these can
be had, if at all, these days?

Thanks very much,

Will Scarvie

There are instalments in both issue #11 (the second part of the series)
and issue #12 (the third part). The first part was in issue #10. I have
these issues but I'm afraid they're not for sale (I have a complete set
of WI from #2 onwards and I don't want to lose any). I don't know what
the author (Roger Underwood) is doing these days.

Hi John,

Thanks very much for the information. I discovered that these ancient
back issues are now available on CD, including the first and second 25.
Wargames has them here in the US, if I remember right. Do a web
search on "Wargamed Illustrated Back Issues" and it'll come up.

Thanks very much,

Will

Decision Games Part 2 appeared in #11 and Part 3 in #12. I have them if I
can help.
