Corsair XMS memory and Asus A8N SLI

I have the Asus A8N SLI Motherboard with Corsair XMS RAM (Pro Twinx1024-3200XLPro (2-2-2-5)).
Will my motherboard automatically adjust to the RAM speed settings or will I have to do this manually? I don't want to overclock but want the RAM to run at optimal settings.
I heard somewhere that I my have to higher the voltage???

  1. Sometimes you have to adjust the latency in the BIOS yourself.

Many cases the motherboard cannot handle the latency the memory supports.

And sometimes, even though the SBD is written at CL2, the BIOS will adjust it to CL2.5 or CL3.

  2. First step is to find out what it loaded at. If you're unfamiliar with memory settings and the bios, download cpuz and that will tell you what timings you have. You can get it from... CPU-Z
