Short cut and computer icon.

im not able open my computer right click manage . if i do that by regedit editor INK FILE BY DELETING is short cut registory . then my desktop item icon get with arrow mark.
and if delete the IS SHORTCUT REGISTORY IN LNKFILE THEN IM NOT ABLE TO OPEN MY COMPUTER RIGHT CLICK MANAGE ICON. what to do

when im opening desktop computer icon with right click to manage. its says error file have no associated program for performing the action. win 7 .

Launch regedit:

Navigate to: "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \exefile\shell\open\command"

Double-click the (Default) value in the right hand pane and delete the current value data, and then type: "%1" %* (Type this EXACTLY as shown including the quotes and asterisk)

Navigate to: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe

In the right-hand pane, set (default) to exefile

Exit the Registry Editor.
