Damaged lcd tv screen repairs

My 47 inch LCD screen has two small, pinhead sized white spots where something sharp (where a small toy, perhaps?) came in contact with the screen. The spots look like stars in the sky at night when there is anything dark (like black) being shown. Otherwise they are unnoticeable. Is there anything I can do, short of buying a different tv) to fix this? Something to apply to the two small spots?
