Voltage converters

Hello my daughter is going to Taiwan (220 volts) and am wondering if electonics (camera,laptop,cell phone)requires transformer to drop voltage or just a converter to match the plug type. All the chargers for her devices say 110-240 V.

As you've seen from the small print on the power adapters -- they cover 220v safely so all you need is socket converter.

If coming from the USA these are probably available in Taiwan for less than in the US (as they are almost certainly made there or in China).

If from UK/Ireland may be better to buy first at home.
