out of range errors after i got a new replacement comcast cable box. Causes projector to search inputs randomly. Pls Help.

Can you try hooking up the replacement box to something else, like a monitor or something similar? This will help you determine if it's the cable box or something else that's causing your issue.

If the output of the cable box is greater in resolution than the input of the projector then that would be the error message. Hook it to another TV and go through the setup to set the output to match the native resolution of the projector (480p, 720p, 1080p) and the aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9)
