HP Slimline s7620n Performance

Hi All,

I have a HP Slimline s7620n that worked great when we first bought it @ 2 years ago but is very very slow now. Is there anything that I can do findout what's going on?

We use it primarily for minor MS applications and mostly for internet surfing. It has 1.86 GHz Intel Core Solo T1350 processor, 250 GB hard drive, 2 GB max, Windows XP with two users (wife and I).

So far I have gone through and deleted temp files, cookies, keep 1 week history and went into manage add-ons to delete what I think that I could. I've noticed that my wife installed MSN Live toolbar and yahoo toolbar.

I have also installed a SPyware software that I ran to clean things off but just doesn't seem to help. Internet windows open extremely slow and the other day I was trying to open MS Word, which took a long time to open. Something is not right here and I am at my wits ends so welcome any advice!!
