My stingy landlady said she has 2 cable boxes upstairs for her 2 tv's. she ordered me a free comcast DTA converter for the cable wire (originally coming out of the wall to my TV) to connect the cable to so i can get all the channels. we split the bill 2 ways. if she has 2 cable boxes upstairs, do you think Comcast charges extra for her 2nd box and she's taking advantage of me by splitting the bil 50/50?

In our area, Comcast charges $5/mo for a second converter box. My objection to getting a second converter box is mainly the size of it, for a second TV in the kitchen. You can get up to 2 DTA boxes free from Comcast, but they convert every channel to annalog.
