Is It Worth Me Getting A Monitor:

With A DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) Of 8000:1 And 1000:1 Static Ratio Such As The Samsung 2253BW?

Or Go With A 3000:1 Static Ratio Such As The LG L226WTY-BF?

They Are Both 2MS, 1680x1050, DVI, and 300cd/m2

I Don't Mind Getting Either There Is Only A 50 Dollar Difference So Price Isn't A Factor.

Please Give Me Some Honest Answers And Help!

DCR is more of propoganda and overall does not have much net effect. I generally tend to ignore that spec.

Static Contrast is what I would generally go by. This ratio is generally overstated, sometimes as much as 30% depending on the manufacturer. A 3000 contrast seems extremely overstated.

If you are buying it from Newegg.com, then simply read all the bad reviews submitted by the users to find out what flaws they have. Then weigh the all flaws for the monitors to decide which one is better.
