Toshiba express card firewire problems

I found that using the following Toshiba laptop series L305, L350, L355 which all have an express card slot that there is a major flaw in the Toshiba design. I tried several different firewire express cards with the Toshibas and they wouldn't work with several different manufacturer firewire audio units yet all of the same express card with the sound units work excellent with other laptop manufacturers. At other forums I see others are experiencing the same problem and they usually have resolved it by returning their Toshiba or they like me are waiting for action by Toshiba. It appears that Toshiba is ignoring the problem or doesn't have a solution to correct their mistake.

I am wondering if there is a Toshiba engineer who visits this forum who can ratle some cage at Toshiba to get them to working on this problem.
