Can't install service pack 2

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general (More info?)

i can't install service pack 2. automatic updates says that it's downloaded
onto my computer and ready to install but i won't do anything. i tried to
update it on the windows site. didn't work. any ideas? oh yeah, i think i
downloaded SP2 this past winter but uninstalled some hotfixes 'cause i didn't
like what they did to my computer
