Hello everyone this is my first post. I have a question about connecting my Comcast cable box to an HDMI Switch so that I can watch HD on my HDTVs (living room, bedroom).

Here goes:
I want to be able to connect both of my HD TVs to an HDMI Switch so that I can watch all available channels on either TV.
I don't want to pay for a new cable connection and HD box for the bedroom. Is this possible? If yes, will I lose the signal/channel on the TV when I 'switch' to the other one?

Hopefully my Comcast HD box supports HDMI switching!

Thanks!

If you use a switch only one TV will get the signal at any time. If you use a distribution amplifier both TVs will get the same signal at the same time. Same channel of course. You will need a long HDMI cable and you will need to add hardware to use the remote from the other room.
