So I built my computer and when i decided to change cases my power supply blew. So after I got a new PSU and checked if everything was plugged in. It all was, so I turned it on. Then all the sudden a loud squealing noise started. So i checked everything, the video card had the power connected and RAM was seated correctly. Turned it on again and heard the same noise. So then i diagnostically started unplugging certain components and plugs in the motherboard and came to find out it was when i plugged in the front audio ports that i heard the noise. Computer works fine, except that sound wont work at all.
I don't have a sound card, Just on board. I updated all the drivers. and sound appears to be going through on the volume control, but nothing comes out of the speakers. I also tried multiple speakers and even headphones. Checked all my programs to see if sound was muted but none say that it is.
