Trouble adding 2nd Hardrive

I just installed WinXP Prof on my system. Afterwards I installed my 2nd Hardrive (on the secondary IDE connector) and now when XP boots up it freezes up and doesnt get past the splash screen. Any suggestions?

what is it jumped as? Is there anything else on that bus? What is that jumped as?

I Agree with jlanka

Check your jumper settings on both drives. I would assume that you have both HDD's on your primary IDE? Go into your BIOS and see if primary slave is listing your second drive. What kinda drive is it? What type of cable are you using? XP seems to be picky the IDE cable that you use, it likes UDMA 80 pin (If that were the issue though you would probally get stop error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME), but something to keep in mind.
