Hi guys. I few months ago I bought a Westinghouse L2410NM. This 24 '' monitor is great for everything but the one thing I really need-fast paced gaming. Playing Halo 3 on it with my Xbox 360 produces noticeable input lag. ( Ghosting doesn't appear to be a big issue, it has a 8 MS response time).

As I am now making a new computer, I am thinking about getting a new LCD and selling this one. I play a lot of FPS and cannot handle the input lag. I really could use some recommendations. I am looking for monitors in the 22" to 24" in range. I would appreciate personal anecdotes, as well.

Thanks so much!

Would the samsung 226BW S be a better alternative? Or should I just go back buy an old reliable CRT. ( GDM-FW900) :)?

Nothing beats a high end CRT (and there is nothing higher end than a FW900), provided you find one in good condition.

If you want no lag (all LCD monitors have some level of lag) then get a CRT.

The Samsung 226Bw has been discontinued and replaced by the 2232BW. The 2232BW has also been discontinued and replaced by the 2253BW.
