I currently have a Pioneer and it's been pretty good (I think it's a DVR-108). They have 109's out that burn DL faster (6x I think). I have always been happy with Lite-On drives too. I have a CDRW/DVD combo and it's been pretty rock solid. Check out newegg.com, they have some pretty good deals.

My vote goes for the Plextor 716 dual alyer drive. I have had very positive experiences with Plextors. Also good ones with Pioneer and HP drives, but still prefer Plextor.

And the sign says "You got to have a membership card to get inside" Huh
So I got me a pen and paper And I made up my own little sign</pre><p></font color=red>
