In some cases the reseller has the right to change the warranty if you go back to the reseller for RMA. There are many companies doing this. You must read in between the fine lines:

Lifetime warranty can be 1 month, 1 day, 1 year, 100000 years! What is 'lifetime warranty' anyway? No one can answer for certain. It a popular trend.

You might want to contact APACER directly. In most cases the manufacturers only warrant memory directly from their distributors. However, there are some companies who warrant their own memory regardless.

Your second question: HUH !! ??
