I am trying to decide between a Q9000 2.0ghz Quad OR P7550 2.26 Duo. I am not a heavy gamer anymore. I do a lot of video converting, minor editing. I am hoping to get back into gaming with my new Notebook but I would like some opinions.

If your conversion program is multi-threaded, the quad is the best choice.
