2_Looking for a 14-16''

3_Don't really have a size range, but 1280 to new 1366s is fine.

4_Need for portability.

5_Probably close to 2 hours if possible

6_Most likely not going to play any games.

7_For photoshop editing, not major detailed stuff.

8_HDD not really an issue, since they come with huge hard drives now.

9_maybe Frys.com. Bestbuy.com, newegg.com

10_Maybe 3ish years.

11_It's for my wife who is a school teacher, she just needs it to take notes during school meetings, and work on some of the schools art program's projects on photoshop.

12_I hear Asus is the best, and she likes the HPs art designs.

13_We live in USA, Texas when it breaks off :P


My question is what is really needed for photoshop, I think I want to stick with a C2D for her, I just trust Intel more then AMD, and I am looking for a semi-decent video card. She was told 64-bit was best for photoshop, since the extra ram possibilities and such.

I am looking for help in choosing and advice.
