The capstan reel motor is running too slow. Do you know how to settle it? Thanks.

If it's belt or friction driven it may be a wear or cleaning issue.

If it's driven directly it may not be worth trying to fix -- there may be a speed adjustment pot but finding it and calibration would be a problem without a servicing manual.
