I am in a small office with an Win2000 print server. I'm using an XP Pro
workstation.

Whenever anyone on the network sends a job to the printer, I get a
notification message on the system tray.

How do I switch this off.

TIA.

1. Go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes
2. From the Toolbar select: File > Server Properties > Advanced
3. Uncheck "Show informational notifications for local printers", click Apply.
