Hello,
Having already paid HP for a computer with associated hardware/software I do not believe I need to pay another organisation to repair same. Why do they make it so difficult to get fixes for their equipment? It seems they want to milk their customers of their last pennies.
No more HP equipment for me.......ever!!!

You don't mention whether the equipment is out of warranty.

If so, the only recourse is to the dealer who sold it because your contract is with them. Computer products are clearly consumer durables and in most jurisdictions that means they should long outlast any warranty period.

Assuming the issues are not a result of fault on your part: Return to the dealer and suggest that they should repair or replace the faulty goods -- or partly refund your money.

Of course if the product was bought direct from HP, they are the dealer.
