Closed Hard drive capacity Tags: Partition Hard Drives Windows 7 Last response: September 24, 2012 12:41 PM in Windows 7 Share bode2011 September 24, 2012 12:03:46 PM After a hard drive failure on a 500 GB hard drive, I restored the image onto a new 1TB hard drive. Windows is showing the C: drive with 224 GB and partition D: with 225 GB. I'm guessing that Windows doesn't know that it's on a 1TB drive now, so how do I get access to the missing 500GB?
