I'm building a new computer with dual HD 4870s so I'm going to buy a new monitor to complement them. What I'm looking for is a LCD HDTV (that is, can double as an HDTV) monitor that's around 30 inches, has a resolution of at least 1920x1080 and is 1080p, has around a 5ms response time, and is less than $1000 (about $800 would be preferable). Here are two LCD monitors I've looked at (both $550): ViewSonic VX2835WM 28" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] k=VX2835WM
Both of these look like good buys, but I'm wondering how well they serve as TVs. Here are some HDTVs that can double as monitors (All around $900): Sharp AQUOS LC-32GP3U 32" http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6889101117
