My Humax LP32-TDR1 LCD TV developed a fault where the picture looked as though it had a solarized effect to it on all inputs and internal tv settings. It would still turn on and work correctly apart from the picture having the wrong colours.
Yesterday the TV was on with no signal and it switched it self off and refused to come back on again.
There is a blue LED on the front for power and a few red ones showing the volume etc. these red LEDs fail to light up and no picture or sound is produced.
Could these two problems be linked and how do I go about finding the fault.
I have a degree in electronics, so opening it up and replacing components isn't a problem for me.

Any help much appreciated,

Ollie

Edit: Fixed no power issue, went into standby because of no signal and didn't realise there was a standby on off button in the touch panel
