Hi:

I have a macbook pro with a MiniDisplayport video and audio out (digital & analog). I wonder if there is a converter out there that can take my video out, combine it with the audio out into a single HDMI.

Almost as helpful is a device that takes HDMI video and couples the audio, as I can easily plug in the MiniDisplayport to HDMI video adapter.
