Hi!

My computer is stalling and rebooting seemingly unmotivated these days.

I have consulted Dr. Watson and she says:
*** ERROR: Symbol file could not be found. Defaulted to export symbols for
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntdll.dll - funksjon: ntdll!KiFastSystemCallRet

What is a symbol file and how can I fix this file?
I have downloaded and installed WinDbg, but that's way above my league :-)

In my opinion screwing around with Dr. Watson is a waste of time.

How to Install Symbols for Dr. Watson Error Debugging
http://support.microsoft.com/defau [...] -us;141465

HOWTO: Use Rebase to Extract Symbols for DrWtSn32.exe
http://support.microsoft.com/defau [...] -us;258205

As near as I can tell, Dr Watson is virtually worthless without the symbols.
