I've finally become fed up with the crummy (and dirty) cloth mousepads I've used.
I'd like to get a good gaming surface, but I'm not really sure where to start. I would like something larger than the standard 8x9 or so of a cloth mousepad. More importantly, I would like something that will enhance the precision of my laser mice (I have a G5 and an MX Revolution for officey tasks).
In the past, I've looked at surfaces available on newegg, and then looked for reviews, but most of the reviews seem to be contradictory, and it's been far from simple to figure out what's good.
If anybody could contribute some suggestions for good surfaces, and what makes the particular product good, please do so!

I am in somewhat similar situation. So far i have narrowed it down to 3 but can not make up my mind. they are cyber snipa tracer, Razer Destryctor, and the razer exactmat.
