I have old style analog TVs hooked up to a cable TV provider. My package from them is very basic, so I never did have their expanded TV programs with the digital box. Still, because the provider made the recent switch to digital signals, I did not have to modify my TV to get the newer digital TV reception.
However, I understand all new VCR and DVD recorders, unless I can find one that still has a built-in tuner, will no longer work with my setup.
What must I do, for a VCR and a DVD recorder to work, both now with my old TVs and later when I buy my first flat screen, digital ready, LCD TVS ??
I will really appreciate all possible help with this. I have been without a workable VCR or DVD recorder for too long and I want whatever I buy now, to also work when I purchase a new digital TV. Thanks much.
