Hey All,

My friend needs to record some audio off TV (foxtel).

I am not sure how he can do this. Can this be done using a PC?

Regards,

- Dean

If your viewing the broadcast on a PC via tuner card, you can record "What You Hear" using any sound editor.

If your TV has an audio out - usually RCA Right and Left - and your sound card as a line input, you can get a RCA R/L to mini-pin(1/8" pin) converter at Radio Shack, and record using the Line In as source in your sound editor software.

In addition to michaelst_54.

Make sure the TV audio output set to FIX not VARIABLE. This insure the audio comming out is fix.
